The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, . The B.S. program provides majors with a sound educational base. The Master of Science prepares students for research, teaching, or further study towards the Ph.D. in Computer Science or Software Engineering. (Currently the Ph.D. is offered by the University of California in various locations and some private institutions such as Stanford University.) Our programs also enable individuals with background in other areas to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter and/or advance in employment in computer-related industries.
The student must find a faculty member who is willing to work with the student and supervise the thesis or project. The advisor and the student should formulate a plan for the work to be done. A Master's Project can consist of a high-quality paper or piece of software.
Use Undergraduate Computer Science Thesis Topics like a "career"
Computer science touches almost all aspects of our daily lives. It is the basis of many of the endeavors in society today and continues to advance various areas and open new fields, among them the entertainment industry, engineering, government, medicine, manufacturing, science, space exploration and communication. From its theoretical and algorithmic foundations to cutting-edge developments in robotics, computer vision, intelligent systems, bioinformatics and other exciting areas, a comprehensive foundation in computer science allows graduates to adapt to new technologies and new ideas.

Master Thesis Proposal For Computer Science
The Department offers the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in in conjunction with the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department.
The 20 Best Graduate Programs in Computer Science-- …
The thesis option requires the completion of 24 credit hours of CSE graduate‐level courses (9 credit hours of core courses
and 15 hours of electives) and 6 credit hours of thesis in computer science related problems, as determined by the Major
Professor and documented in the Plan of Work. At least 16 credit hours must be at the 6000 level. With prior permission
from the Graduate Program Director, students can take a maximum of 3 hours of Independent Study or Internship, a
maximum of 3 hours of one‐hour seminar courses, and up to one graduate level course (3 credit hours) outside of the
Professional Master of Computer Science
The breadth of subjects which are part of computer science together with the immense diversity of its applications,
make it imperative that students in the Master's program maintain close contact with the Graduate Program Director,
or, if choosing the thesis option, with their major professor in order to achieve a coherent plan of study directed
towards a specific goal. In particular, election of courses should only be made with prior consultation and approval of
the Major Professor or the Graduate Program Director.
